Melissa B. Bonfiglio

Ms. Bonfiglio brings a special diligence and meticulous attention to detail to the practice of law. She has represented clients in a wide range of federal and state actions involving contract, warranty, product liability, misappropriation of trade secrets, shareholder and business tort disputes. She also has particular experience in trademark and trade dress infringement, false advertising and unfair competition actions.

Prior to joining ERTW, Ms. Bonfiglio was a litigation associate at Bryan Cave LLP. In 2007, she was named a “Super Lawyers – Rising Star” by the Journal of Law and Politics and Los Angeles Magazine.

Ms. Bonfiglio graduated from the University of Virginia with Highest Distinction in 1997 and received her J.D. from UCLA in 2002. During law school, Ms. Bonfiglio was the chief articles editor of the UCLA Journal of Environmental Law and Policy, a volunteer with the El Centro Homelessness Prevention Clinic, and a director of the UCLA Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. From 1997-99, Ms. Bonfiglio worked in Taipei, Taiwan as the International Coordinator for a non-profit organization.
